A super-rare Golden Mushroom has a low chance of appearing during a match of Fortnite. This mysterious consumable has some awesome effects, but where do you find it and what exactly does this Golden Mushroom do?

Perhaps The Golden Mushroom has been removed from the game, but Fortniters are still looking for this item because of its legendary status and the hunt will never end.

Let’s find out what’s up with this Golden Fortnite Mushroom!

The Golden Mushroom is more rumor than reality since it has an incredibly low chance to appear in a match of Fortnite. Maybe you can find one before Season 7 of Fortnite is out!

Where To Find the Golden Mushroom in Fortnite

The chances of actually finding a Golden Mushroom during a match is in the 0.0001% range, but if you never look for one, you will also never find one. The Golden Mushroom can spawn in Swampland or Frosted areas around trees or near water. The Golden Mushroom spawns in place of a regular Blue Mushroom but at an extremely low rate. We would say it is next to impossible to find one, and you have better chances at spotting a UFO!

What does the Golden Mushroom in Fortnite Do?

The Golden Mushroom has a rather simple but powerful effect in Fortnite. It can be consumed on the spot or carried in your loadout. When used, the Golden Mushroom instantly gives you 100 shields. Now, that is what I would call a game-breaking effect! Thus, it is a good reason why the Golden Mush has such a low spawn rate.

If you're just not satisfied and really want to get your hands on this Golden Boy, then you can always boot up Creative Mode and visit Orange Guys Island with island code: 0972-8666-3236.

The Golden Mushroom is very similar to the Mythic Goldfish that also has an incredibly low spawn rate and chances are, you will never actually see these in-game.
