Epic Games have announced the return of the "Reboot a Friend" program in 2021. With it, players can earn rewards by inviting and playing with friends who haven't played Fortnite for 30 days or more. Here's all you need to know.

Do you remember the "Reboot a Friend" referral program in Fortnite? It first appeared back in December 2020 and allowed players to earn some free rewards by simply teaming up with friends.

How Does Reboot a Friend Work?

First and foremost you'll need friends, right? Technically, that's the only requirement for the program. If you already have some friends on your list that haven't been active for quite some time, that's great news. You'll get an extra reward for playing with them after they haven't played Fortnite in a while. For any extra games that you play, you'll still receive a reward. You can invite up to three friends in the Reboot a friend program 2021. The rewards you can earn are:

  • Toxic Flash Glider
  • Heartbeat Wrap
  • Plasma Carrot Pickaxe (in two different styles)
  • Reboot Spray

While the Reboot a Friend rewards aren't exclusive they haven't been released before. The Reboot a Friend program will run from April 6 to April 26, 2021. There's plenty of time to complete it and get all the items! The best part is that both the rebooter and the rebooted get the rewards.

I Have No Rebootable Friends

In case all your friends are active players you can still earn the Reboot a Friend rewards. The thing is, it'll be harder with 10 points for each game as you won't be eligible for the 100 points bonus listed above. Will you be rebooting some friends or are you getting rebooted yourself?
