Fortnite fat XP payouts await you in the Week 5 Challenges if you dare to complete them! Find out here which missions are should be on your to-do list for Week 5 and how to complete each one.

Fortnite Season 5 has started strong and the challenges this week actually look fun. As always, the new challenges will be released on Thursday, but we have a leaked list of challenges so you are ready to hit the ground running. Also, we are kind of looking forward to this week's challenges as some weeks have felt more like chores than fun gameplay loops.

Chapter 2, Season 5, Week 5 Challenges

During Season 5, the weekly challenges are like classic quests you would see in an MMO like WoW as you need to go to different NPCs that give you the quests and rewards. Each of these quests will give you 20,000 XP. Here's that list of weekly quests:

  • Find the buried blue coin in Retail Row
  • Dig up 1 dwarf in Fort Crumpet and Pleasant Park
  • Search 15 chests or ammo boxes
  • Collect 1 gnome in Fort Crumpet and Holly Hedges
  • Bury 2 dwarves in Pleasant Park or Retail Row
  • Deal 1000 damage within 10 seconds of emerging from the sand
  • Deal 500 damage while crouching

So, this week's challenges are all about dwarves or gnomes which are definitely not the same thing. Calm down fantasy fans, we know the difference! Clearly, dwarves are much cooler than those punny gnomes.

Maybe these challenges are a reference to the newly leaked weapons? One can hope and dream!

The big question remains, has Epic fixed the bugs related to hiding in the sand? If not, we suspect this weekly challenge will be replaced or delayed.
