The Season 5, Week 9 challenges are:
- Shakedown an IO guard (1)
- Find a hidden bunker (1)
- Find the crashed plane’s black box (1)
- Deal damage while in water (200)
- Emote at stone statues (1)
- Ride the Steamy Stacks (1)
- Deal damage to a Loot Shark (500)
The challenges are relatively easy to complete once you know exactly where to go. The IO guards spawn randomly at the small, open metal houses scattered around the map.
These are all of the locations:
This task is best to play in pairs as it makes it easier to bring a guard to his knees and interrogate him.
There are several hidden bunkers on the map. However, it is enough to visit just one. Land on the small island in the middle of Stealthy Stronghold and Craggy Cliffs. There is a small hut on the east end of the island. Land on the roof and just build your way down and you will literally fall onto the hidden bunker.
We have a detailed guide on how to locate the black box and the crashed plane.
To damage enemies while underwater, you must first go in Group Wedges mode to avoid quick death. There is a way to complete this challenge in an easier and, quite frankly, cooler way: grab a boat, cruise around in the water and look for an enemy or IO guards to shoot down with the boat's missiles.
The fifth challenge should also be quick to complete. The stone statues are located west of Weeping Woods. Go to the marked location on the map and simply use an emote to earn your XP.
For the sixth challenge, go to Steamy Stacks and let yourself be propelled upwards by both chimneys. You can also fly up and sail straight into the breeze of the second chimney to complete the challenge.
The last challenge should also be pretty self-explanatory. Search for a shark and inflict damage on it. The sharks are in and around Craggy Cliffs. Keep damaging them until you reach the set minimum of 500.
And there you go. You've completed all Week 9 challenges.
Now enjoy your rewards!
