Fortnite Season 7 brought a lot of cool alien weapons and flavor to the game. But do you know what leaves a bad taste in your mouth? The flying UFOs that players can control! Yep, you guessed it, UFOS are both broken and overpowered and if you’re not using them, you're dying to them.

Let’s dive into this Fortnite Rant! UFOs are OP!

Now, Fortnite has had its fair share of overpowered weapons and vehicles over the different seasons. Let's never forget everyone’s favorite OP mech, the B.R.U.T.E. While it was short-lived and nerfed, then removed, it certainly left a mark on the player base.

Bad news everyone, UFOs are nearly as OP. But good news everyone, LeBron James is coming to Fortnite!

What Makes The UFO So Broken In Fortnite Season 7?

It is several small things that come together that make the UFO a must-use in your match. We know it's obvious to say, but the high-ground advantage you gain is insane.

You can literally just see everything and can hunt down any poor fool running across an open area of the map. But there are so many other reasons that make the UFO so OP. Let's go through each one.

UFOs are too fast

First up, it moves super fast. Well, cars do so too, but they are loud and clumsy to control off-road and do not provide you with any kind of weaponry. Now, cars are dead, you only use them to find a UFO. Turns out, flying is superior to driving. Yes, an earthshattering revelation indeed! But for real, the UFO lets you zip across the entire map with ease and at pretty low risk, sure everyone can see you, but not like they can easily shoot you down. So, the UFO lets you travel wherever you want with no risk. Sounds fair, right?

The UFO laser blast is too good

Next up let’s talk about how OP the weaponry on the UFO is. It has a spammable laser blast that deals 30 damage which knocks the player back. This is not insane, but still pretty good. What makes it actually broken, is how it utterly obliterates any build. Like, I’m not even joking here, the thing just melts wood, brick and even steel builds in a single shot. You have zero chance of building your way out of a UFO attack.

The UFOs tractor beam counters cars

The tractor beam on the UFO completely counters cars, forcing the driver out of the car unless they want to be picked up and thrown halfway across the map. The car driver is then forced to get out of the car and try to fight the UFO. Now you're doomed, because you need to deal with the UFO and then its pilot.

UFOs have too much energy

Each UFO comes with a battery life, and if it runs out, the UFO no longer functions. However, that doesn't matter because the battery lasts so long, you have more than enough energy to get several kills before it runs out. This means, if you are being hunted by a UFO, you can never escape it. The only feasible way to hide from a UFO is to reach some kind of large building like the one you would find at Slurpy Swamp.

Hopefully, I've coveredeverything that makes the UFO OP. If not, these are plenty enough reasons to call it an overpowered, broken flying machine! Of course, you can shoot the UFO down with any rifle in your loadout, but guess what? Even if you shoot down the UFO, the player still lives.

Rant over! Just nerf it, Epic Games or hey, feel free to remove it, and no one will miss it.

How Can Epic Fix The UFO?

Well for starters, just nerf its damage or reduce the battery life on them, so they are not so present in each lobby. Another, less simple fix, would be to kill the player when they crash land, making it a high risk, high reward choice. Until then, just jump into a UFO and win your lobby.
