Fortnite's crossovers are constantly ongoing, and they don't seem to be losing any steam, as each month we seem to get some new skin. More and more characters from movies, TV, other video games, comics, and real-life icons are appearing in the game. In our weekly series 'Fortnite skins Background', we want to introduce you to each of these Fortnite characters, one at a time. Today, the Muscle bound skin: Dude.

The Dude skin is an epic Fortnite outfit from the Free Guy set. He was first added to the game on August 13, 2021,3 in Chapter 2, Season 7 with Update 17.30. The last time Dude was available in the Fortnite item store was on August 13, 2021.

Who is Dude?

Dude, is a character from Free Guy, an American science-fiction action-comedy directed by Shawn Levy. The film stars Ryan Reynolds as "Guy", a bank employee who discovers that he is actually an NPC in an open-world video game and decides to become the hero of the story and save his friends from being deleted by the game's creator.

But Ryan Reynolds not only slips into the role of the main character, but also the role of "Dude". At least in terms of the face, the rest of the body belongs to bodybuilder, Aaron W. Reed. We have special effects and deepfakes to thank for that.

To stop his rebelling NPC, the game's creator unleashes a much more massive, muscular version of Guy to bring calm back into the system. We don't want to spoil anything though so no worries. To find out how it all turns out, you'll have to watch the movie for yourself!

Dude in Fortnite

The Dude outfit can be bought for 1,200 V-Bucks in the item store. With a few free challenges, you could also unlock the super manly emote "Nice Guy". In fact, this Dude doesn't even seem to need much more cosmetics, either. But why should he? The muscles will take care of that problem.

We will keep you informed with even more Skin Backgrounds next week, and until then, why not check out the Superman collaboration that recently made it into Fortnite Season 7.
