Fortnite's crossovers are constantly ongoing, and they don't seem to be losing any steam, as each month we seem to get some new skin. More and more characters from movies, TV, other video games, comics, and real-life icons are appearing in the game. In our weekly series 'Fortnite skins Background', we want to introduce you to each of these Fortnite characters, one at a time. Today, the newest addition to the MCU: Shang-Chi.
The Shang-Chi skin is an epic Fortnite outfit from the Marvel Series Skins and is a part of the Master of Kung Fu bundle. He was first added to the game on September 3, 2021, in Chapter 2, Season 7 with Update 17.50.

Who is Shang-Chi?
Shang-Chi is also known as the Master of Kung Fu and Brother Hand, and he is a superhero appearing in Marvel Comics. The comic book version of Shang-Chi first appeared in issue 15 of the Special Marvel Edition in December 1973. Shang-Chi is skilled in both unarmed and weapon combat from the wushu style of fighting. In the comics, he used the gùn, nunchaku, and jian weapons to beat up his enemies.Jump forward to the present day, and Shang-Chi made his debut in the MCU film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, released in 2021, where he is played by Chinese-Canadian actor Simu Liu. In the movie, he eventually obtains the Ten Rings which is some kind of mysterious legendary weapon from another dimension, but very little is known about it. The movie hit it really big at the box office and sports excellent reviews from both fans and critics alike.
Shang-Chi in Fortnite
At the time of the skin's release, The Shang-Chi Bundle contained the following items which were sold for 1800 V-Bucks in a bundle, and the outfit sold for 1500 V-Bucks alone.

Unlike other skins, there were no special quests or events for Shang-Chi, its release was, however, timed with the Marvel movie's release date as a clear way to promote the movie.
