Fortnite and crossovers - they just work. Hence, new partnerships are announced again and again. In our weekly series, Fortnite Skins In Detail, we present you with a Fortnite skin from one of these crossovers and go through all the cosmetics. Today: Gambit from Marvel.
More and more characters from TV, films and other games appear as skins in Fortnite. So that you don't lose sight of the story behind the characters, we'll keep you up to date. Our weekly series returns with a really nice collaboration between Epic Games and Marvel: Gambit.
Fortnite Skin Gambit
Rogue and Gambit are one of the most popular couples in the X-Men franchise. Their relationship began in 1990, shortly after Gambit was introduced in the comics and was a major aspect of the X-Men television series. Both characters hail from the southern United States and speak with exaggerated accents and slang.
Both Anna Marie and Remy LeBeau once used their superpowers for evil, but joining the X-Men is their attempt to set things right. These two X-Men - also known as Rogue and Gambit - now fight for a righteous cause on the island of Fortnite!
How Do You Get The Gambit Skin In Fortnite?
The Gambit Skin was added on February 25, 2022, as part of the "Rogue & Gambit" set in Chapter 3, Season 1 with Patch 19.30. It's available from time to time in the Fortnite item shop and can only be purchased there.
How Much Is The Gambit Skin In Fortnite?
You can purchase the Gambit skin individually from the Fortnite Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks. The skin is also available within the Rogue & Gambit bundle with other cosmetics for 2,100 V-Bucks.
What Cosmetics Are Included In The Rogue & Gambit Set?
Gambit is part of the Rogue & Gambit set in Fortnite. This includes the following cosmetics:
Outfit Gambit
The mighty card thrower: Remy LeBeau.
If you're a fan, you'll be grabbing this skin asap. But of course, he doesn't come to the island alone...
Outfit Rogue
The southern belle of the X-Men.
What would Gambit be without Rogue? After all, they're happily married. Rogue is also available in the item shop for 1,500 V-Bucks or as a set for 2,100 V-Bucks.
Harvesting tool Lebeau's Bo
Swift as the wind, my dear.
Perfect for striking fast! Lebeau's Bo costs 800 V-Bucks and is a must if you're on the island with Gambit.
Holo-X Axe Harvesting Tool
This weapon must have been ripped right off the training room wall.
The perfect axe for a lady. Yep, Rogue can really dish it out. You can pick up this harvesting tool in your locker for 500 V-Bucks.
Emote Hands Off!
Better keep your hands to yourself.
People... during Corona times, you should keep your distance! So if someone accidentally gets too close to you, just show them this emote!
Blackbird Glider
Scott knows we're borrowing this, right?
You can definitely borrow the Blackbird from Scott... After all, you have to save the island, so I'm sure that's fine!
Glider Flying Ace
This card will take you far.
Why not use an ace as a glider? Unlike the standard gliders, you don't hang down from this glider, instead you ride on top, like on a magic carpet!
Back Bling Kinetic Maps Backpack
Even if you take the game seriously, it's still a game, mon ami.So we get cards as an emote, as a glider and as a back bling... Epic definitely wants to show off what Gambit's signature ability is...
Back Bling Xavier's Institute for Gifted Youngsters
This allows you to represent the institute properly.
A holo accessory for your back. Okay, not exactly spectacular, but not terrible.
Rogue and Gambit loading screen
Probably the most romantic loading screen in Fortnite! Who doesn't get jealous here? Here are the emotes in action:
