How To Get XP Fast In Fortnite

Fortnite is as much about getting Victory Royale as it is about doing so in style, which is why it offers plenty of ways for players to earn XP.

With Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 well underway, players are continuing to grind their battle pass, which is filled with amazing cosmetics including emotes, back blings, and of course, skins. The biggest reward for completing this season's pass is the iconic Darth Vader skin, which was originally teased during the live event to end Chapter 3 Season 2.

Even if you have a slow start to the season or are jumping into Epic Games' battle royale just to try and earn some exclusive Star Wars and Indiana Jones cosmetics, Fortnite offers plenty of ways to catch up without needing to purchase battle pass tiers. If you're keen on making the most out of your game time, looking for top placements is far from the only way to get XP fast.

XP farm In Fortnite

Farming XP in Fortnite is not only about how fast you are at building or taking down enemies. Sure, winning games and scoring kills will reward you with a sizable chunk of XP, but even if you're not that skilled at the battle royale, Epic Games has made sure everyone gets the chance to complete the battle pass.

Here are things you should be on the lookout for while playing Fortnite if you want to maximize your XP gain:

Complete Daily Fortnite Challenges

Each day, Fortnite will have brand-new challenges for players to complete, with added bonuses if you finish more than one. You'll earn a total of 1k XP per challenge. Completing three daily challenges will award a 15k XP boost so be sure to keep an eye on them.

Daily challenges are rarely hard and you'll most likely be completing a few of these simply by doing tasks you already normally do in-game. A quick example is that some challenges required you to land in a specific location, pick up a certain type of ammo, or loot chests and boxes.

Complete Weekly Fortnite Quests

Weekly quests are your best bet at accruing XP in a fast and efficient way. Unlike daily challenges, these missions don't expire and can be completed at any point during a Fortnite Chapter. Each weekly quest will hand out 15k XP, with extra incentives for completing more than one. You'll start at Tier 1 of weekly quest bonus goals, receiving a total of 43k XP each time you finish reaching certain milestones.

Completing a total of six weekly quests means moving up to Tier 2 of weekly bonus goals and therefore more XP for your troubles. You can easily find these in your quests tabs in the main Fortnite menu so always keep tabs on what things you'll need to pull off to make some progress.

Of course, weekly quests are a bit more involved than daily challenges and will require you to step out of your comfort zone more often than not. They can be gun-related, reach a location with a certain type of vehicle, and more.

Complete Fortnite Milestones

Finally, there are milestones. These are simply trackers that will reward you based on progress but are not things that are time-sensitive like weekly quests or daily challenges.

Think of them as extra bonuses on top of XP you gain while simply playing the game. An example of a milestone, which you can also check out on the quests tab of the Fortnite menu, is doing 10k damage to opponents.

Every milestone has 20 stages to progress through, each awarding 5k XP. Completing enough of these will also give you a milestone bonus goal. The bronze punchcard will reward you 40k XP for completing 20 milestone stages and will move you up to the silver tier where more XP awaits

If you're new to the world of Fortnite we hope this refresher on how to quickly gain XP helps you on your way to completing your battle pass. You don't want to miss out on all those cool rewards!
