How do I sign up for the Fortnite Lantern Trials event?
To unlock the rewards, you must first log in to the official Fortnite Lantern Trials event website with your Epic Games account. This will automatically log the player in and start tracking their progress. After that, all you have to do is play Fortnite. Yes, it really is that simple. Every 40 minutes you spend in a game of Fortnite, you earn a Lantern Trials badge. Players will earn rewards at levels 1, 6, and 11.

The time played is counted only in the regular modes Solos, Duos, Trios, and Squads. Time will not be counted if you are spamming Arena, an LTM, or Creative mode. This also means that players cannot sit in the lobby for 7 hours to earn the rewards.
What Are the Rewards for the Fortnite Lantern Trials Event?
Although almost seven hours is a long time to play Fortnite, it's worth it! Especially the Lantern Glow Wrap is worth it. This animated paint job is an exclusive reward, which means players can't get it any other way. The same goes for the Lantern Spray and Lantern Emoticon, by the way.
Who Can Sign Up for the Fortnite Lantern Trials Event?
You must be at least 13 years old to register for the event. Only the first one million players can register for Lantern Trials, after which the site will close to new registrations. So you should sign up soon and earn the rewards before they are gone forever.
