The new Fortnite challenges for Season 7, Week 11 are here and this time, one of them requires you to mark an alien parasite. We'll show you how it's done and where to go.

Previously, there was the challenge "Mark an Alien Egg" in Fortnite, but now we need to mark a parasite instead. This time, you don't have to mark an egg, but the alien parasite living inside the egg itself.

Completing this challenge will reward you with 30K XP after it's done, so we highly recommend completing the quest. All the quests from week 11 are in one awesome place: Fortnite Challenge Guides. If you want to feed your cat, then you should also look for the Vintage Cat Food Cans around the Season 7 map this week.

Where To Mark an Alien Parasite in Fortnite

If you've played a bit this season, you've probably seen an alien parasite or two in Fortnite and even had the pleasure of wearing one on your head. We recommend you to go to Holly Hatchery. There, you'll find a bunch of alien eggs just waiting to hatch and jump onto your head. However, this is not the only place where you will find an alien parasite. There are alien parasites and alien eggs scattered all over the map. Even some animals have one of these critters on their head. Just walk around and keep a lookout for them. If you see an alien egg, approach it or shoot it and the alien parasite will burst out.

How To Mark an Alien Parasite in Fortnite

To mark an alien parasite in Fortnite, all you have to do is aim at it from a distance and ping it, just like you ping any item in Fortnite. However, you have to be quick and tag the parasite before it catches up with you and devours your head. This should be an easy enough task and makes this a pretty easy weekly challenge. So all you need to do is shoot the alien parasite once and the sweet XP is yours!
