There are three types of animals that you can tame in Fortnite Season 6, so let’s go over all of them from the least lethal (though Zelda would disagree with you here) to the most lethal.
How To Tame Chickens in Fortnite Season 6?
- Find a chicken in the wild areas of The Island
- Chase it and simply pick it up once you're close enough
- Once you’re carrying it, jump and you can fly
Chickens will not help you during a fight (who would have thought), but flying sounds fun too, so if you want to try that out, go get yourself some Chick-fil-A.
How To Tame Boars in Fortnite Season 6?
- Get some fruit or vegetables from a farm
- Find a boar in the wild areas of the Island
- Throw the fruit or vegetables down near the boar (MAKE SURE IT DOESN’T SEE YOU)
- Sneak up on it while it’s eating
- Press “tame” once you’re close to it
If you’re having trouble with sneaking up on the boar, we’d recommend you crafting Hunter’s Cloak (another task for the Fortnite Season 6 Week 1 Challenges) with which you can sneak up on any animal undetected.
How To Tame Wolves in Fortnite Season 6?
- Find wolves (they roam in packs) in the wild areas of The Island
- Kill one of the wolves and loot their meat
- Throw the meat down near a wolf, then hide
- Walk up to it while it’s eating
- Press “tame” once you’re close to it
Feeding a wolf one of its colleagues is rather morbid, but we’d highly advise you to be a dick and do it because wolves will help you fight and are pretty strong.
