How do you watch the Twitch Rivals Streamer Bowl 2? Well, a click here, a click there and Bob's Your Uncle ( = and there you go, for all y'all Americans).
While the NFL are having their cute little playoffs with their cute little helmets on the pitch, the real gladiators are taking to Twitch: The Twitch Rivals Streamer Bowl II is set to take place, with NFL pros joining Fortnite players to compete for a $1 million prize pool.
Here's the skinny:
- 30 teams of trios
- Six games in each group
- February 4th at 3pm CT
- Winning team gets $250,000 for charity
The road to the $250,000 charity money comes via a combination of placement and in-game eliminations. Both are added up and whichever team has the most points at the end of the six games, gets the big cash-check for a charity of their choice. The charities of the other teams still get a piece of the pie though: $150,000 for second place $100k for third place and the rest is scaled down and divided up between the rest.
Fortnite Content Creators will draft NFL Players
To set up the teams, the Fortnite players get to draft NFL players on January 26. In fact, you can check all relevant details on the official Twitch Streamer Bowl hub page. This draft, Clix will get the first pick, after winning the 2020 Streamer Bowl with Tarik Cohen. Chicago Bears fans will surely remember the date, as it was the first time a Bears player won anything relevant in 25 years.
