Fortnite is on summer break right now, but that doesn't mean there's nothing to do in the game. As the No Sweat summer event continues, Epic is constantly adding new quests, map changes, and items to keep players busy.
And now a very special item came back into play that rains junk on your opponents: the junk crack.

How To Use The Junk Rift in Fortnite
The Junk Rift is an epic consumable. When thrown, it shatters on contact with the ground, creating a rift in the air. This rift spits out a random object that falls to the ground, dealing extremely high damage and knocking players away. It also destroys any building it crashes into.
So if an enemy player camps somewhere and builds in, the Junk Rift is the perfect way to lure the opponent out of his lair. However, some materials, ammunition, and weapons can also come out of the rift.
Where To Find The Junk Rift in Fortnite
The Junk Rift is currently part of the normal loot pool. This means players can find it anywhere loot can be found - in boxes, on the ground, or in loot drops. The quickest way to find something is to search in large POIs like Tilted Towers, Rave Cave, Sleepy Sound, or Daily Bugle. In all of these locations, you have a wide variety of loot to choose from.
