Fortnite is about to go full anime with some upcoming skins from the most popular animated series. Naruto got leaked a month ago, but Dragon Ball Z, Demon Slayer, and others are also coming.
Fortnite is the most popular battle royale game on the market, and for good reason. It's easy to learn, difficult to master, and attracts players of all ages. Fortnite is also the game with the most crossovers we can think of. We've seen it all, from Marvel superheroes to Star Wars and beyond. According to a recent leak, anime is the next thing on the list.

Anime Skins Are Coming to Fortnite
Naruto was the first anime to get leaked as a potential skin in Epic's battle royale. Fortnite data miner Twea revealed that according to a trusted source, Epic are working with Shueisha to produce some anime collaborations.
A trusted source has stated that Epic are working with a company named Shueisha to produce a few anime collabs. The company has partial rights to many large animes including Naruto and Dragon Ball.

The tweet mentions Naruto and Dragon Ball, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Let's start by saying that Shueisha owns the popular Shonen Jump magazine. The companyowns the rights to a lot of anime. Here's a small list that includes some of their most famous IPs:
- Naruto
- Demon Slayer
- Dragon Ball Z
- Bleach
- JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
- My Hero Academia
- One Piece
- Fist of the North Star
You can check the complete list on Wikipedia. Those are just a few, and the possibilities are endless. This new partnership with Shueisha can be a total goldmine and even exceed their continued collaboration with Marvel. Epic might even be able to draw in plenty of new players with the release of so manyanime-based skins. None of the information has been officially confirmed by Epic Games, so take it with a grain of salt.
Another big question is whether the skins will retain their anime look, or get adapted to the Fortnite aesthetics. If the recent release of Rick Sanchez from Rick & Morty is any indication, the anime skins will really look like anime.
When is the Fortnite Anime Skins Release Date?
There's no info on a potential release date. As we've already mentioned, there's no official confirmation from Epic about anime skins, so your guess is as good as ours. Fortnite is currently in Season 7 and considering it's themed after an alien invasion, it's highly unlikely we'll see anime skins soon. There's always Season 8, though.
