Shells are one of the resource you will need in Lego Fortnite. They are required to upgrade your Workbench for the first time. Here's how you get them and the Sand Shell Variant.

Shells are one of the more dangerous materials as you need to venture out and fight for it.

How To Find The Shell In LEGO Fortnite

Shells are granted as a reward from slaying the "Roller" enemy. Now, these Roller enemies aren't that easy to find, although they are fairly common in any grassy biome. Maybe if you pick up a lot of rocks, you have come along a roller before. They look just like the stones on the ground, but they have green foliage on them. To get the shell, you only have to defeat the roller.

Killing a roller? That cant be too hard, can it? Well they do hit quite hard and they are really fast at… yes well…they roll. You need to be careful and take your time.

Be mindful with dodging and jumping, and have some heal items. A viable strategy is dodging the role attack and then hitting him a few times before you back off. Repeat that process till the roller is defeated, and you will be rewarded with your very own shell. To make that whole process easier, it is advised to craft a sword.

How About Sand Shells?

To find Sand Shells, you are going to be looking for sand. I know that sounds ridiculous but trust me. You want to go to the sandy area where it meets the shoreline.

In that biome, you will find a lot of crab enemies. You are going to be specifically looking for a crab with a yellow shell on their back. Only these sand crabs are going to be dropping Sand Shells.

The other crabs are going to drop other items. The sand crabs are quite tanky and since you don't have a lot of HP you are mostly reliant on dodging their attacks.

I hope you find everything you need to get these precious shells.
