A new leak suggests that more characters from the Spider-Man universe will appear in Fortnite as both skins and NPCs but who's who and which is which? We look at what is known so far!
If you thought Fortnite was done with Spider-Man crossovers, you would sadly be mistaken as a recent leak suggests two new characters from the comic books could be coming to the game as NPCs and maybe even as skins. Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1 should be sticking around for a few more months. Just enough time for Epic to pack in more Spider-Man crossovers.
The leak comes from the internet's most active Fortnite data miner, HYPEX who has reminded us of a detail we have forgotten... where are Spider-man's enemies?
So far, we have only seen the web-slinger himself, so this is why we believe that the Green Goblin could be coming to Fortnite.

First up, we learn that Mary Jane will appear as an NPC that sells the legendary item and super overpowered web-shooters in Fortnite that lets you travel across the map at lightning speeds. Seriously, the web-swinging is out of control in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1. So many will be thankful when this item goes into the vault.
Mary Jane will appear as an NPC and sell the Web-Shooters at the daily Bugle POI for 400 gold bars. Remember the Daily Bugle is located in the northeast part of the Island in the massive crater. However, as you may know, the web-shooters are already super easy to find, so shelling out 400 bars for them is a bit much, and you are better off looking for the webs hanging around the map to locate your shooters this way.
The second part of the leak from HYPEX is by far the most exciting, as the leaker suggests that the Green Goblin might be coming to Fortnite. The Glider seen in the promo card for Chapter 3, Season 1 has glider animations that are very similar to the ones seen on the Green Goblin's glider in the Spider-Man comic books and if you know Epic at all: they always give spoilers in this style.
A small tiny detail that has huge meaning when you connect it to pop-culture.
It also helps that we have the tagline suggesting that "Spiderman's friends & enemies are coming to the game" but we have yet to get an enemy of Spider-Man. Thus, enter the Green Goblin, the most iconic villain in the Spider-Man universe.
Of course, we must say that any leak should be taken with a grain of salt and at the end of the day it could never see the light of day. But in our experience, the Fortnite leakers are seldom incorrect, so expect to see the Green Goblin pop-up in the Fortnite item shop soon.
