Players were amazed when animals were added to Fortnite for the first time with Season 6. But it seems that Epic has even bigger plans for them. Will we soon be able to ride across the Fortnite island on the back of an animal?
Fortnite got a feature with Season 6 that few players would have expected. With the new primal theme, wolves, wild boars, chickens, frogs, and later even raptors were suddenly running around on the island.
At the beginning of Season 7, there were even rumors that pointed to kangaroos and platypuses. With a new leak, other animals are suddenly much more likely.

Will You Be Able To Ride Animals in Fortnite?
HYPEX, a well-known Fortnite data miner, apparently found a new animal class in the files of the latest patch 3.21, which has to do with mounts. It might soon be possible for players to mount animals in Fortnite - a feature that many players have been wanting for a while now.
According to HYPEX, however, the mounts are still in very early development, which is why - if the leak is true - we can expect the mounts at the end of Season 7, beginning of Season 8 at the earliest.
Looks like we will get a ridable wildlife animal this or next season(s), a new class was added this update related to riding animals and its still in very early development!

What Animals Will You Be Able To Mount in Fortnite?
HYPEX has not said a word about what the mounts might be, but I personally somehow doubt that they will be just horses. Since the beginning of Season 7, our favorite mascot the Llama has been brought to life. Will we be able to ride it soon?
Of course, this isn't the first time we've heard about mounts possibly coming to Fortnite. Similar rumors surfaced years ago when an "antelope" vehicle was discovered in the game's files. However, as most know, that had nothing to do with mounts. I guess we have no choice but to wait. Who knows, maybe it won't be that long until we can gallop across the Fortnite map on the back of an animal.
