The latest Fortnite collaboration will not only allow you to purchase an in-game outfit based on Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe, but there will also be a real-life action figure from Hasbro based on the character's Fortnite design.

Name? Classified. Date of birth? Classified. Ninja Master? Verified.

That's exactly how Epic announces its newest hero. Snake Eyes is a fictional character from the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero toyline, comics, and animated series. There are also two live-action films called G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra from 2009 and the sequel G.I. Joe from 2013, in which he is played by Ray Park. Henry Golding is set to portray the titular character in the upcoming spin-off film Snake Eyes, which is set for release this year.

Epic didn't miss a beat and once again teamed up with Marvel to form a collaboration in the G.I Joe universe. Yesterday, Snake Eyes appeared in the Item Shop, and to go along with the skin this time there will also be a Hasbro action figure.

Fortnite's Snake Eyes Action Figure From Hasbro

Now try to keep up with this one, G.I Joe was first a comic book character that eventually got turned into an action figure based on an old animated series called, G.I Joe: A Real American Hero. This old animated series then got turned into a blockbuster movie that is now the inspiration for a Fortnite Skin. It all comes full circle as this Fortnite skin will now be turned back into an action figure but at triple the price because it is now a collaboration with Epic Games. The magic of capitalism! The figure costs $39.99, which isn't exactly a bargain. You also have to pre-order the figure and wait until January 2022 to get it!
