Fortnite is the undisputed king of crossovers. There are so many collaborations that our weekly series can hardly keep up. From Ariana Grande to Naruto to Master Chief, everything was there. And now there are also rumors that Jurassic World and Fall Guys could be coming to Fortnite! And today another amazing crossover went live: Pac-Man.

Fortnite's latest collaboration will be star gaming icon Pac-Man. Here are the details.

Pac-Man Is Now Live In Fortnite

The Pac-Man crossover just went live, and you can now buy the full Pac-Man item set from the store. Here's what the Pac-Man set includes:

  • Pac-Brained Emote (300 V-Bucks)
  • Pac-Man Back Bling (500 V-Bucks)

The Back Bling is particularly cool because it's reactive. As the player turns left or right, the little Pac-Man on the back will also turn accordingly. Pretty neat, huh?

Pac-Man Is Coming To Fortnite

An announcement on Pac-Man's Japanese website states that the Fortnite and Pac-Man collaboration will begin on June 2. We don't know Japanese, but luckily, there's still Google Translate. The exact translated words of the website are:

The online game Fortnite, which will be marketed and distributed by Epic Games, and Pac-Man will collaborate!Pac-Man themed items will appear in-game. The collaboration will start on June 2, 2022 (Thursday).

Oddly enough, the official Fortnite Twitter account has yet to mention Pac-Man coming to the island. However, Pac-Man's birthday was May 22 (ol' yellow boy's getting old) and the Fortnite Twitter account wished the yellow ball a happy birthday, which already had fans suspicious. Pac-Man Museum+, a compilation of Pac-Man titles, has an upcoming release, a perfect time for a promotional crossover.

It looks like we won't get a Pac-Man skin, but cosmetics that show the little cult figure. It kind of makes sense, too, considering that Pac-Man probably doesn't go well with the normal, human bodies featured in the battle royale.

We can probably expect some Pac-Man outfits and accessories, but Bandai Namco has promised that there will be more news soon. There's still a little over a week until the collab is set to take place, so this news will likely come later this week.
