The Fortnite Update v29.20 starts at the same time as Fortnite's server downtime, on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 4:00 a.m. ET. The servers are typically offline for up to 2 hours and 30 minutes. After that, you can log into the game as usual.

Avatar Skins
According to the Epic partner and Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR, 3 new Avatar skins are set to be added to the game with tomorrow’s update. According to Shiina, they will be availabe in tomorrow's item shop with backblings, pickaxes and an emote. The Leaker also things that the 3 skins might be Katara, Toph and Zuko, which all bend a different element. Aang is also expected to be part of the Event Pass, which would make him available from April 12.

Fortnite has sent an email to content creators telling them that they'll get 3 "mysterious" skins tomorrow:
- 3 Outfits (Each 2,000 V-Bucks)
- 3 Pickaxes
- 3 Back Blings

New Mythical Avatar Items
Along with the Avatar event, more mythic weapons or items related to the popular series are expected to come to the game. These are also anticipated to be playable by Friday, April 12. They are expected to fit each of the remaining elements, which are air, earth and fire.
Comeback Of The Tactical AR
After a lot of leaks and discussions lately in the community, the Tactical AR now could return with the next patch. This weapon, was originally released alongside the official John Wick skin, and is still the only AR that uses light ammunition.
Rocket Racing Season 1
After a long time of wait, season 0 of Rocket Racing is finally ending. The game mode is set to receive its first major update. The season will carry the theme "Neon Lights." The leaked Matius Skin will be a skin for those who rank up and solve quests in Rocket Racing, after buying the bundle with quests. The Werewolf chassis from Rocket League will also be added to both, Battle Royale and Rocket Racing.
New Cosmetics and Crossovers
Fortnite Leaker ShiinaBR also confirms that the next update will finally bring new cosmetics and collaborations for us. So, we can expect new Fortnite skins and perhaps even new, exciting crossovers, such as the second wave of Jujutsu Kaisen.
