Fortnite update 19.20 will be released soon and will bring a lot of new things with it. Even a brand new POI.
Fortnite is always updating and changing, this is not a surprise for those who follow the game. But with Chapter 3, Epic has added something every week so far. First, Tilted Towers was released with the big mid-season update, then crossovers like Arcane Vi and Hawkeye came to Fortnite, and now the next change is already coming with patch 19.20. Here's what you can expect.
Fortnite Patch 19.20 Downtime
Fortnite update 19.20 is expected to launch alongside Fortnite's server downtime on Tuesday, February 01, 2022, at 10:00 am. It is expected that the servers will be down for no longer than 2 hours with all game modes being unplayable during this time.

With every patch, new things come to Fortnite. Even though there are no official patch notes, some leaks tell us what might be coming to the island with Fortnite Update 19.20.
Covert Canyon POI
When the snow started to melt in Fortnite, Tilted Towers also returned. However, the northern part of the map is still covered with snow, but it will finally disappear with Fortnite Patch 19.20.
According to Fortnite leaker HYPEX, the new POI Covert Canyon is hidden under the snow. This new POI will be underground and guarded by the IO Brute Boss. When you eliminate this boss, he will drop the following loot:
- A Mythical Stinger SMG
- 2x healing items: 3 Minis, 1 Guzzle Juice, 1 Med-Mist (all have a 33% chance to spawn).

Treasure Map
We can once again role play as a pirate because treasure maps are supposed to come back to the game. Presumably, they will work similarly as before and show you with a red marking where you have to dig for the treasure. This treasure can then contain the following things:

Green Goblin
The character we're absolutely sure is coming to Fortnite is the Green Goblin, Spider-Man's arch-nemesis. We announced it before, but yes, you can assume that this guy will appear in Fortnite next week.
