Fortnite has once again teamed up with PlayStation to bring players to the Fortnite PlayStation Cup! This PS4 and PS5 exclusive tournament give you the opportunity to win a share of the total $107,100 in prize money on this console!
It's that time again for Chapter 3, Fortniters! After Fortnite teamed up with Sony back in January, the next PlayStation Cup has now been announced exclusively for PlayStation players. Start practicing already because the best of the best can win a part of the $107,100 prize pool! We have all the details for you now!
When Is The Fortnite PlayStation Cup?
The Fortnite PlayStation Cup will take place this weekend, on Friday, February 11 at 19:00 CET and on Saturday, February 12 at 12:00 CET.
How To Participate In The Fortnite PlayStation Cup
Only eligible players on PS4 systems or PS5 consoles can participate in the Fortnite PlayStation Cup. The tournament will once again be held in a solo format over two rounds. Simply select the PlayStation Cup in Fortnite to start the Cup and join the first round.
- Round 1 is an open competition where you will have 3 hours to play a maximum of 10 games and earn as many points as possible.
- Only the top 100 players from each region will advance to Round 2.
- Round 2 consists of 6 matches in total.
- The top players from Round 2 in each region will receive a prize.
Fortnite PlayStation Cup Point Spread
The point distribution is arranged in such a way that there is a balance of points for achieving eliminations and placements in Round 1. Therefore, in Round 1, there is one point for each elimination. Since there is only one lobby of players in Round 2, eliminations are rewarded with 2 points instead of 1. However, the most points are awarded for placement in your lobby:
- Epic victory: 30 points
- 2nd place: 25 points
- 3rd place: 22 points
- 4th place: 20 points
- 5th place: 19 points
- 6th place: 17 points
- 7th place: 16 points
- 8th place: 15 points
- 9th place: 14 points
- 10th place: 13 points
- 11th - 15th place: 11 points
- 16th - 20th place: 9 points
- 21st - 25th place: 7 points
- 26th - 30th place: 5 points
- 31st - 35th place: 4 points
- 36th - 40th place: 3 points
- 41st - 50th place: 2 points
- 51st - 75th place: 1 point

The PlayStation Cup is unfortunately not available on the Asia server region at this time, and players in Japan are not eligible to participate. This is likely to lack of interest and Epic's unwillingness to deal with China.
