The new legendary quests for week 12 in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 are here and one of them requires you to search for books on explosions. We'll show you where they are on the Season 7 map, so you can complete this week's quest.
What has Epic come up with for us in week 12 of Fortnite's legendary quests? This week, you're supposed to find two books on explosions and once again, it is not too clear why we have to do this small task. Instead of pretending to know whatever story is going on in Fortnite, let's focus on the fat 30k XP you'll earn from this challenge! There are three locations where you can find two books each. Let's take a closer look at these locations.

Search For Books on Explosions in Catty Corner
- The first book on explosions is next to the trash can on the east side of the garage in the southern part of Catty Corner.
- The second book can be found in front of the trailer in the northern part of Catty Corner.
Search For Books on Explosions in Dirty Docks
- You can find one book about explosions in front of the dumpster south of the main road leading to Dirty Docks.
- The second one can be found near the shipping containers in the southern part of Dirty Docks, also near a dumpster.
Search For Books on Explosions in Steamy Stacks
- You can find the first book at the entrance of Steamy Stacks.
- The second one is in the building right next to the main building of Steamy Stacks
If you're quick, you can easily complete this challenge in one round of Fortnite. As always, this season, you can only collect the books if no other player has beaten you to them. If you can't find any of the books, just start a new lobby and try to land on one of the books right after jumping off the Battle Bus.
