The pump shotgun is back in Fortnite! We have the stats for the new Sharp Tooth Shotgun for you and show you where to find it.
With Fortnite v25.11, an old fan favorite, the pump gun or SPAS, returned to Fortnite! However, it now has a different name and came into the game with some changes that players tend to dislike. We have the stats for the sharp-toothed shotgun for you and show you how to get it.
Fortnite Sharp Tooth Shotgun: Stats
The old Fortniters out there know how powerful the pump shotgun was. With a well-aimed headshot, it could eliminate your opponent with just one shot. Unfortunately, the weapon isn't quite as strong now. At legendary rarity, the shotgun now only does 160 headshot damage, has a lower spread, but a longer range.
The Sharp Tooth Shotgun in Fortnite is available from Uncommon to Legendary, with each rarity level dealing additional damage. However, the rate of fire and magazine size are the same at each level. These are the stats for the Sharp Tooth Shotgun:
Rarity | Damage (body) | Damage (head) | Clip Size | Fire Rate | Reload Time |
Uncommon | 102.6 | 145 | 4 | 0.68 | 4.725s |
Rare | 108 | 150 | 4 | 0.68 | 4.5s |
Epic | 113.4 | 155 | 4 | 0.68 | 4.275s |
Legendary | 118.8 | 160 | 4 | 0.68 | 4.05s |
This shotgun has a 1.65x headshot multiplier, but the maximum damage is capped at the above values.
Sharp Tooth shotgun location: How to get the new weapon in Fortnite
The Sharp Tooth Shotgun is part of Fortnite's normal loot pool. This means that the shotgun can be found on the ground, in normal and rare chests as well as in holo chests, fishing spots, claiming a POI, or by shooting down flying drones.
So you shouldn't have any problems getting the Sharp Tooth Shotgun in Fortnite, but of course the rarer ones are harder to find, so it's worth knowing all the locations of the upgrade benches in Chapter 4 Season 3.
