The Sideways Scythe has finally been added to Fortnite, and here's how you can get this new OP weapon.
The Sideways Scythe is the third Sideways weapon added to Fortnite Season 8 with the latest Fortnite Patch 18.21. It is a scythe that probably reminds OG players of the sword from Chapter 1, Season 7. But how do you get this new strange weapon?

Where To Find The Sideways Scythe
Like any of the Sideways weapons, the Scythe can only be found in the Sideways realm. You can find it both as floor loot or in a Sideways chest. But be careful, as you probably know, there are a bunch of zombies like monsters there ready to take you down.
Also, you can get the Sideways Scythe by killing the new Caretaker monster. However, these beasts are not so easy to defeat, so equip yourself before you go into battle!
What Does The Sideways Scythe Do?
The Sideways Scythe can be found in five different rarity levels. The higher the rarity, the more damage each hit from the scythe does. The weapon does between 40 and 46 damage per hit. In addition, you can heal yourself when you eliminate players with the scythe.
How To Upgrade The Sideways Scythe
You can upgrade the Sideways Scythe in Fortnite just like any other weapon. All you have to do is kill the Sideways monsters and collect the cube parts that the zombies drop. You can then use these parts to upgrade the scythe.
- Uncommon (green) to Rare (blue): 15 Cube parts
- Rare (blue) to Epic (purple): 20 Cube parts
- Epic (purple) to Legendary (orange): 25 Cube parts
- Legendary (orange) to Mythic (gold): 50 Cube parts
As always, you can upgrade the weapon via your crafting menu in your inventory.
