More and more characters from series, movies, or other games appear as skins in Fortnite. So that you don't lose track of the story behind the characters, we'll keep you up to date. Our weekly series returns with a truly awesome collaboration between Epic Games and Riot Games: Arcane Jinx!
If you're only a Fortnite fan, perhaps you do not know that many other games and have missed this recent crossover from two giants of the gaming industry. To celebrate the release of the new Netflix series, Arcane: League of Legends, Riot has teamed up with Epic to promote this series in Fortnite with an exclusive Jinx skin.
Who is Jinx?
Jinx is one of the most famous League of Legends champions, who has been a playable character in the game for a very long time. In League, Jinx is a Marksman class that often plays in the bottom lane, and this ranged champion is great for getting kills or pushing the lane.
Let's talk about where Jinx fits into the lore of LoL. She is a criminal from Zaun and is an agent of chaos and rarely considers the consequences of her choices. She uses massive weapons to explode and destroy anything that gets in her way, and she will do it with a manic smile on her face.
Arcane Jinx Skin in Fortnite
Jinx was added to Fortnite on November 5, 2021, as a part of the Gaming Legends Series in Chapter 2, Season 8 of Fortnite. She was released to promote the Netflix series Arcane, where she stars as the anime's main character. The series has awesome hand-drawn animations with a ton of cell shading! You can pick up the Jinx skin from the Fortnite Item Shop for 1500 V-Bucks. You can also purchase the Arcane Jinx Bundle for 1800 V-Bucks. The bundle comes with the skin, a pickaxe, a back-bling, and a soundtrack.
Along with the Jinx outfit, you’ll also be able to pick up a bunch of other things in the item shop as well:
