A new drivable tank-like vehicle could be coming to Fortnite very soon. We have the details!
Fortnite leaks have been hinting at another vehicle for a while now, and it looks like we can now get our first look at this new tank-like vehicle. And it looks super cool!
The tank is known in the files as the "TreadVehicle" and it carries a massive drill on the front. Let's take a closer look at it.
Driveable Tanks In Fortnite
As always, the leaks come from our best friend and starlet in the Fortnite leaker community, Hypex. He posted a picture of the new strange tank vehicle on Twitter:
However, there are no details about how this new vehicle works at the moment, since it hasn't been officially revealed by Epic Games yet. Hypex writes:
"Epic is working on an armored vehicle codenamed "TreadVehicle", no other info is known about this vehicle, but I assume it's a drivable drill because it also has those tread wheels."
He also added in a comment that the vehicle has a driver seat and a passenger seat. If the tank is going to be drivable, players will probably be able to enter the vehicle through the hatch on the top. It also seems to be fairly well armored for a vehicle, although it doesn't seem to have any obvious combat capabilities aside from the drill. Perhaps this vehicle will do well against enemy buildings and be able to tear them to the ground within seconds.

If and when this vehicle comes to Fortnite is still a rumor at best. However, it seems that the tank is in the game files under development, so we can possibly still expect the vehicle in Chapter 3, Season 1. As soon as we have more information, we will of course update this article for you.
