Out of nowhere, Tfue tweets about coming back to Fortnite! Let's check out why he left and why he is thinking about coming back!

It is no longer a rumor and after a solid month of speculation, Epic has finally confirmed Fortnite Chapter 3 is coming on December 4. Well, this is kind of old news if you are a true Fortnite fan and have been keeping up to date will all the latest news. However, what we do have is a sudden tweet from an old Fortnite content creator that left the community back in 2020.

We are, of course, talking about Tfue, who is on record for saying rather nasty things about Fortnite. He had this to say about why he quit Fortnite back in March 2021:

They realized they have a personality and can venture off and play other games and still have a streaming career. Basically, Fortnite is just filled with a bunch of people with zero personality and the game’s f**king dead.

Shockingly, Fortnite is still alive and very much kicking. In fact, Season 7 and Season 8 of Chapter 2 were quite good, and it shouldn't surprise you that the Fortnite player base is well and alive and far from dead, even though the "big" streamers have departed from the game. It is as if a fraction of the gaming population completely ignores Twitch and just plays the game they enjoy. So when a streamer quits the game, they take their tiny audience, relative to the whole player base, and the game itself moves on without noticing.

Even though Tfue had such harsh words for Fortnite, it appears the streamer might be planning a return to Fortnite Chapter 3.

Now, we have to ask ourselves, will he come back or was he just trolling? I guess we have to wait until early December to find out!

Tfue has been spending his time away from Fortnite mostly playing Apex Legends and recently Halo Infinite. Tfue currently has 10 million followers on Twitch, where his average streams bring in 100k to 200k views, so the streamer has been doing quite well without playing Fortnite. Perhaps a return to Fortnite will further boost his reach and grow his audience even more!

It's okay, Tfue, Epic Games is kind and welcomes you back with open arms and Fortnite fans may just remember you. But remember: Fortnite is full of sweaty kids too busy chaining lobbies to open up Twitch!
