Fortnite fans will soon be able to download Update 18.20, bringing two new Combat Weapons, Fortnite: Nightmares, Week 2, and more.
Fortnite Season 8 has already given fans a lot of content, such as the Tilted World and the powerful Venom and Carnage symbionts. If you think that's it, however, you couldn't be more wrong. Epic Games are now delivering the second update of the season, this time with an emphasis on Cube Chaos...
The second week of Fortnite: Nightmares promises not only new skins like the Golden Skull Trooper and other game modes, but also the takeover of the island by the dice, and two new Combat Weapons. Here is everything that you need to know about Fortnite Patch 18.20.
Fortnite Downtime
Fortnite Update 18.20 starts parallel to Fortnite's usual server downtime on October 12. The downtime started at 10:00 AM CEST, and it's not known how long the servers will be down for. All you have to do is hold out a little longer before you can throw yourself back into the Battle Royale!
Fortnite 18.20 Patch Notes
With each patch, new things come to Fortnite Island. What can we expect this time around?
New Combat Weapons
We've already announced that Epic Games is working on some new weapons. According to Fortnite Leaker HYPEX, though, these could finally come into play with Fortnite Patch 18.20. Thus, keep your eyes peeled for Combat AR and Combat SMG!

The Dice Continues to Take Power
At the beginning of Season 8, mysterious cubes appeared on the island. Since then, they have been multiplying and slowly moving towards the center of the map. Epic Games has hinted that the Dice will extend their rule over the island later this month.
Fortnite: Nightmares & Week 2
Fortnite's Halloween Event, Fortnite: Nightmares, is starting its second week, so expect another seven days of spooky content. This includes new game modes, the well-known Jump-scare Zombies that launch from objects when you get too close, and of course, new skins.
Most recently, we got a Rick Grimes skin from the Walking Dead Universe in Fortnite. Now, a new teaser for Week 2 suggests that this time we will get a gold version of the popular Skull Trooper in-game.
As with every patch, there will be some bug fixes included in the Fortnite Update 18.20 Patch Notes. If you're interested, you can check them out on Fortnite's official Trello Board. Otherwise, take a look at our Fortnite Page for more news!
