Yes, everything is getting more and more expensive, and it seems that even video games are no longer spared from this. In the case of Fortnite, Epic Games has announced that it will increase the prices of V-Bucks packs and content packs that are available for real money.
We have an overview of all the changes.
Fortnite Prices Need To Be Increased Due To Inflation
According to Epic Games, the price adjustments are based on economic factors such as inflation and currency fluctuations, and follow similar price adjustments already made in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Mexico.
The price change will go into effect on October 27 and will affect the following countries: Czech Republic, Denmark, Eurozone countries, Japan, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, Hungary and the United States of America.
The changes are not insanely big, but they are noticeable. In the US, for example, the changes look like this:
- 1,000 V-Bucks: $8.99 (+$1)
- 2,800 V-Bucks: $22.99 (+$3)
- 5,000 V-Bucks: $36.99 (+$5)
- 13,500 V-Bucks: $89.99 (+$10)

- Last Billing Pack
- Skinning Unit Pack
- Graveyard Drift Order Pack
- Saint Academy Order Pack
- Transformers Pack
