June is the planned release date for season 7 of Fortnite and something sinister is waiting for us. It is no wonder we need to gather a little intel and find and repair some telescopes to aid us in this information-gathering quest. Many fans believe alien activity has been seen in the skies, but nothing has been confirmed or denied by Epic Games. We will just have to wait and see, but until then, where are the Telescopes on the Fortnite Season 6 map?
Damaged Telescopes Locations in Fortnite
How to Repair the Telescopes in Fortnite?
Each telescope is located outside a named landmark on the season 6 map, and you’ll need to bring 20 metal to repair a damaged telescope, so make sure to smash some cars on your way to them.
1. Sweaty Sands
Head to the John Wick NPC west of Sweaty Sands and look for a big tree on a cliff. Beside it, you will find the damaged telescope lying there. It’s near the crashed cargo.
2. Lockie's Lighthouse
Head to Lockie’s Lighthouse northwest of Sweaty Stronghold. It's on the Island outside the actual stronghold.
3. Craggy Cliffs
Find the damaged telescope on a cliff east of Craggy Cliffs near FN Radio station.
4. Dirty Docks
This one is far northeast of Dirty Docks and located on a large hill near the river. If you crossed the river, you went too far.
5. Retail Row
South of Retail Row is a snowy mountain range, but lucky enough the telescope is on top of the peak closest to the village. It is just southeast of Retail Row.
6. Catty Corner
Far south of Catty Corner, on the edge of the mountain range that overlooks the water, you’ll find another damaged telescope. The telescope is located on the non-snowy part of the mountain overlooking Shipwreck Cove.
7. Misty Meadows
Exit Misty Meadows to the west and look for a hill that overlooks both the road and the water to the north of the hill.
How Many Telescopes Do You Need to Repair for the Foreshadowing Quest in Fortnite?
The damaged telescopes are located in pretty remote locations of the Season 6 Map and you will need to repair 5 of them to complete the Foreshadowing Quest. For your hard work and exploration across the island, you will net a cool 24,000 XP for your efforts.
Keep your eyes on the skies because Season 7 of Fortnite is coming, and it brings a new mystery with it.
