The 2024 Updates to UEFN & Fortnite Creative
One of the key features is the Analytics Device in UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite), which allows creators to track player interactions with various elements on their islands. This tool will enable creators to gather event data, processed and available in the Creator Portal, helping them understand player engagement better.
The Creative Menus UI Update will overhaul the categorization and search functionality within Island Settings and content pages in Creative. It also includes a visual polish and a renamed 'Quick Options' menu, now accessible directly from the main tab menu, enhancing ease of use.
Mesh to Prop is an exciting addition for content creators. It simplifies the process of converting Static Mesh Assets and Actors into customizable Fortnite BuildingProps. This tool offers various customizations, including resource types (Wood, Stone, Metal), destruction properties, custom VFX, and more, making in-game objects more versatile.
