EA has shaken up FC 24 and its weekly events. After the release of the new Thunderstruck players and Icons we got another never before seen campaign in Ultimate Team. The current FUT promo is called Radioactive and will be live and in packs starting Friday, December 1, at 6pm GMT/1pm ET /10am PT.
We can't help but wonder why EA releases a card set with the name 'Racioactive' when Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine this summer.

Strange Name For A FUT Campaign In EA FC 24
We have already mentioned the rather strange concept and name. Don't get us wrong, it certainly looks cool, but we're not sure if this is appropriate when looking at the current state of the world. Consider that in the summer of 2023, Putin started threatening to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
So from now on, at least for one week, we will be hunting for "radioactive cards" in Ultimate Team. Feels weird, because that's not usually a positive topic of conversation – just watch Oppenheimer or Chernobyl and decide for yourself if that's a good name for an Ultimate Team campaign.
