The new livestreaming platform, Noice, allows players to play gaming livestreams and become part of the experience. Here is how it works.
Noice is a new interactive livestreaming platform, where viewers are able to actually PLAY the stream. The closed beta was just released this week on November 21, and we got the chance to play test the platform in an early access event. We're here to tell you how it actually works and, in what way, viewers will get to interact with their favorite gaming streamers.
Noice – Streaming Platform Allows Viewers To Play The Stream
Noice has been in development for four years, and is now being released in a closed beta version. Combining streaming with gaming might sound a bit confusing at first, so here is how it works.
With Noice, viewers are no longer mere spectators, they can interact with each other and the stream. Alone or in teams, they will compete against other viewers in a fun competition.
While watching a streamer play a video game, the viewers can try to predict the streamers next moves, and place a card for their guess. If their guess turns out to be true, they will collect points and climb the leaderboard.
Cards for a Fortnite stream could be: "Streamer will farm 100 wood within the next 60 seconds" or "Streamer will win the round within the next 120 seconds". The team or the viewer with the most points at the end of the match will win and most likely get a shoutout from the streamer.
Each user in Noice has their own customizable avatar and will be able to emote and chat while watching the stream in a theatre-like room, called the arena.
Noice's concept ensures that viewers are not just spectators but active participants in the stream. This will also help the streamer to create a dynamic and engaging community.
