The 2023 League of Legends World Championship is over. T1 beat Weibo Gaming 3-0 in the final. T1 was almost unbeatable, losing only one game in the playoffs, proving they are really the best team in the world.

So, now that the dust has settled, it's time to think about which skins you could be buying next year from your favorite T1 player.

On June 28, 2018 Riot has stated the following conditions for a Champion to be eligible to be selected for a player's Worlds skin.

  1. The player must have played at least one game on that champion during Worlds.
  2. If the team already has a skin for that champion from a previous win, Riot may ask the player to pick another champion.
  3. Xayah and Rakan will not both be receiving a skin if only one of the Champs has been chosen by a player.
  4. Skin development will also be taken into account, determining what a player could decide. This is done to avoid the release of multiple new skins for a single champion close together.

There are quite a lot of choices for the players, with the bot lane having the most variations. After the World Championship finished, T1's support Keria even revealed that he begged the Riot skins team to let him pick Lux, even if he hadn't played her, but they refused. So, which champion will he pick for his skin, then?

The deadline to lock in their champion choices for the 2023 World Championship are over and it seems there have been some last-minute changes made by certain players.

  • Jungle: Lee Sin
  • Mid Lane: Orianna
  • Bot Lane: Jinx
  • Support: Bard

Oner has even expressed how he wants his Lee Sin to fight against the already existing SKT T1 Lee Sin skin, then coming out victorious as his recall or taunt.

Almost everyone and their mom thought Faker would be picking Ahri for his Worlds skin, but it seems he has made a different choice and decided to go with Orianna, who was his most impactful champion throughout the tournament.

Guma had said from the beginning that he wanted to pick Jinx for his Worlds skin, leaving only Keria who had desperately tried to find a champion to fit his vision of a Girl Group NewJeans inspired skin. Guess he'll have to win Worlds again in 2025 so he can play Lux and make his dreams come true, eh?
