1. Primary Weapon: Combat Assault Rifle

The Combat Assault Rifle is currently just available as a mythic version, but according to some leaks, the regular one should join the game during the season. Even if not, the gun is too powerful to not mention it here!

35 Bullets with 25 damage each is just enormous if you think about the high fire rate without a huge recoil!

2. Secondary Weapon: Combat Shotgun

Due to the Gatekeeper Shotgun being such better in close fights, dealing more damage in a much shorter time, the Combat fits more to the season.

A lot of people are flying around with nitros and cars, so the Combat Shotgun is perfect for dealing damage on such a range in fast pace.

3. & 4. Healing: Flowberry Fizz and Nitro Splash

Carrying enough healing is crucial for your survival in Fortnite. There are many good options in Chapter 5 Season 3. A good balance of healing as well as being a good movement item is the Flowberry Fizz.

To combine this perfectly with the new OP Nitro effect, you should carry the Nitro Splashes, which doesn't heal you but give you the OP effect almost immediately.

5. The Last Slot And Its Alternatives

What you carry in your last inventory slot depends entirely on your own play style in Fortnite. We'll show you the three best possible alternatives and their pros and cons:

Boom Bolt

The Boom Bolt is perfect to destroy cars or building structures. It also has decent player damage as well, which makes it a pretty good alround weapon, especially in a season like this. Only downside, you need the rare rocket ammo.

SMG For Close Combat

The Thunder Burst SMG is a good option if you don't carry an assault rifle, actually. If you put a laser attachment on it, you will always have the first shot accuracy for every single shot! That is making it such easier to hit shots on even further distance. With the burst, you can also shoot through walls, which is pretty effective to pressure your opponent.

If you carry an AR you also could choose the Harbinger SMG which is just a pretty solid usual SMG.

Mobility-Item

The Nitro Fists are probably the most broken item this season! Especially in Solos, it's more than just a rotation item. You can punch through the enemies' boxes like Mike Tyson and deal a huge amount of damage. Also, in every other mode, it's pretty comfortable to play one of those.

An optimal loadout in Fortnite Battle Royale is the key to success. By choosing a combination of an assault rifle, shotgun, healing, explosives or submachine gun and mobility item, you can maximize your chances of winning by a lot. Don't forget to adapt your loadout to your preferred play style, and you'll soon be collecting plenty of Victory Crowns.
