Hearthstone has been out for quite some time now, but that doesn't mean that new players aren't joining daily. For all of you new players out there, EarlyGame has you covered on some tips and tricks to up your game in Hearthstone.
Now, of course, these tips are not aimed towards the hardcore Hearthstone fans. Instead, we would like to help out a brand-new player wanting to try the game for the first time.
Do play practise mode!
What seems like a fairly obvious tip is actually something that new players tend to forget! Using this mode allows you to play against an AI bot with your newly created (or auto-generated) Hearthstone deck. What's important here is for you new players is that you will not be playing against a real-life person, so you can relax for the moment and learn more about the game's mechanics!
Do use existing Hearthstone statistics to build your deck
There is a reason professional Hearthstone esports players are using certain cards – it's because they are good. Of course, for beginner players, it's important to master the basic cards that are given to you, but know that there are websites out there that help for Hearthstone deck building. From low-budget cost decks to crazy and creative ones, you can have it all! Hearthstone also has an official deck builder but another fantastic website is Hearthstone Top Decks.
Do your quests!
A great tip for all you Hearthstone beginners is doing the daily quests! Each time you log in, daily, you'll be greeted with something like the above. Each day, it'll be something different that rewards you with gold. That gold can then be used to buy Hearthstone cards in the store.
It should also be noted that you do not need to spend real-life currency on this game. Doing the daily Hearthstone quests over time and learning some financials along the way, you can easily save up enough gold to get a fair amount of packs. Hopefully, they will net you something good without having to enter any credit card details. You can have fun with the basic cards and just try your luck at getting a good drop with the gold you accumulate. A tip I highly recommend for the new players.
Do learn from your mistakes
Part of being new to something is making mistakes, and that's OK. What's important is that you, as a player, have fun and learn where you went wrong if you intend to play long-term in the future. So, what are you waiting for? Go build some Hearthstone decks!
