Hearthstone is a very dynamic game with a very healthy metagame. Most classes currently sit in Tier 1 with a good deck or two and winning games like crazy. But that’s not enough for us. Let’s narrow them to only two and go climb that ladder!

It’s crazy how much variety the Hearthstone meta currently has, especially when compared to the recent problems in its main competitor, Magic: The Gathering Arena. Pretty much every class is doing well, except maybe Warrior and Rogue.

Many excellent decks could easily make our list – Libram Paladin, Tempo Mage, and Control Priest to name a few. But we are doing a Top 2, and that means our picks need to excel and do something special… a.k.a be dirt cheap. Oh yeah, baby, these decks are budget-friendly!

Soul Demon Hunter

Code: AAECAea5AwTosAPaxgPUyAPP0gMNh7oD17sD4LwD2cYD/MgD/sgD0c0D+84D/tEDzNIDzdID1NID99UDAA==

Cost: 4,660

List:

1 Consume Magic
2 Spirit Jailer
2 Twin Slice
2 Blade Dance
2 Chaos Strike
2 Manafeeder Panthara
2 Soul Shear
2 Wandmaker
2 Aldrachi Warblades
2 Shardshatter Mystic
1 Hoard Pillager
1 Kayn Sunfury
2 Marrowslicer
2 Glaivebound Adept
2 Soulshard Lapidary
2 Skull Of Gul’dan
1 Soulciologist Malicia

The latest patch has been kind to the Demon Hunter and reinforced its position as a total champ (though admittedly, the deck was doing well before). Not much has changed here – you play a combination of control and burn strategies, focusing on survival first and bursting with direct damage in the mid- to late game.

The deck now has more creatures, including Manafeeder Panthara and Wandmaker, and only 2 of them are Legendaries.

If you feel like playing against Demon Hunters, why not consider one of the most consistent decks in the meta? We won’t bore you with lengthy explanations – play your creatures and roll face. Dominate the early game so your opponents don’t even get to play their fancy cards. Need more convincing? Even the reigning world champion plays Face Hunter!
