HellRaisers announced an entirely new CS:GO roster. The organization was left with just a couple of players after its own machinations earlier in the month, but decided to keep only one of them, essentially opening a brand new page for HellRaisers.
First steps for HellRaisers without ANGE1
At the crack of April, HellRaisers made a game-changing decision for the organization. They cut long-term captain Kirill “ANGE1” Karasiow and were left to deal with the roster on their own for the first time since 2014. The Ukrainian in-game leader was followed by his compatriot Igor “crush” Shevchenko, who also got the boot, and Lithuanian Žygimantas “nukkye” Chmieliauskas, who chose to become a free agent due to his unwillingness to play in a Russian-speaking team.
That left HellRaisers with two active players – Vadim “Flarich” Karetin and Ivan “AiyvaN” Semenets. While HR found a room for Flarich in the new iteration of the squad, Aiyvan was not as lucky and will continue his time with the organization on the bench. In the starting lineup Flarich is joined by Dmitro “jR” Chervak, Dmitriy “ProbleM” Martynov, Nikita “JIaYm” Panyushkin and Nikolai “kalinka” Rysakov. This new lineup will be coached by Rustam “TsaGa” Tsagolov.
It is undeniably a new era for HellRaisers and even if they are not and never were tier 1 material, most of us old schoolers would be more than curious to find out how things will unravel now that ANGE1 is no longer part of the equation. At this point HR’s only obligation is ESEA MDL Season 34, which is bound to begin tomorrow, but the Raisers’ first game has not been scheduled yet, so we don’t know exactly how long it is going to be until this lineup’s official debut.
