The well-known CS:GO Caster Henry "HenryG" Greer has announced his retirement from the competitive CS-Scene. In an interview, the 32-year-old explained his reasons.
When you think of memorable scenes from the history of competitive CS:GO, a lot of plays pop up in the head. This also includes the comments of the casters, who make an awesome scene even more memorable. Some commentaries have gained legendary status within the scene. Henry "HenryG" Greer gained worldwide popularity as a caster for CS:GO.
After 6 years of casting, HenryG is hanging up his microphone saying farewell. In an interview, the 32-year old talks about the relentless working schedule as a commentator saying, "it isn’t too uncommon for me to average 300+ days a year abroad". Furthermore, he admitted the sexual assault accusations made up against him in June played a big part.

HenryG got popular on the side of Matthew "Sadokist" Trivett. The commentary duo remains legendary status, casting over 150+ Events for CS:GO as well as 10 Major Tournaments, making its first appearance at the DreamHack Cluj-Napoca Tournament in 2015 and their last at the StarLadder Major Berlin in 2019.
Simultaneously HenryG announced that he'll remain as a part of the community and that his next move will be "a colossal one for the CS:GO community".
