Through the Call of Duty app, many users recently received a strange message that may announce an event. The message mentions intercepted communication from an Al-Qatala command post outside Verdansk and an urgent conversation with an unknown person named Target Denver. The date of the meeting is unknown, but it is believed to be May 21.
In addition to this message, Activision has sent a marketing newsletter via email that directs you to this page. Clicking the button starts a video.
In this video you can hear two terrorists talking about how a certain operator could be dangerous to them and why it is important to find him. In addition, a picture of the operator is shown, which shows what is believed to be Price. We don't know exactly what the news means, but we are warned of a new danger in Verdansk.
What could happen?
Together with the mysterious bunker 11, which contains a strange countdown and a nuclear bomb, this could indicate two possible scenarios.
The first scenario would be that the new Call of Duty is announced. We already reported of a leak that the next CoD will be called Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and several references to it can be found in Warzone and in the update 1.21 patch notes. Since the current Call of Duty was announced in May, it wouldn't be too surprising if the new part will be revealed soon or maybe even today.
The second scenario would be an in-game event for Warzone, similar to Fortnite. It has been said several times that events are planned for the Battle Royale mode. With the opening of the bunkers and the Mysterious Bunker 11, such an event could have been tasered. For example, it is possible that the atomic bomb in Bunker 11 might explode and change the map. Other players suspect that the dam in the north of the map might break, once again changing the map.
