Finally, the wait is over and Jumpstart has reached the Magic: The Gathering Arena servers. The special Jumpstart event will be going all month. However, it looks like the paper release of the product is another matter entirely...
Fun-loving players, rejoice! After much waiting and delays, Jumpstart is live and kicking.

The new cards are already live and the special event is open to all. The event will be available: all the way until April 16. It isn’t free though, so prepare to spend 2,000 gold or 400 Gems on an entry fee. Once you’ve entered, you can play as much as you like without being kicked off.
Rewards include 1 Jumpstart rare ICR after your first win and 1 Jumpstart rare individual card reward (ICR) after the second one. Then, it’s free to play until you get bored.
As we reported before, the digital MTGA version of Jumpstart will vary drastically from its paper counterpart with 20 cards being different among the two. However, it’s now made clear that the differences will continue in the tabletop world, as Jumpstart is delayed in many regions outside the USA.
A statement reads:
We want to reiterate that as of now we do not have a date when this product will be available in Europe, but we will communicate this to you as soon as we have more information. To prevent any confusion for your players we have cancelled any scheduled Jumpstart launch events and removed this option from WER. This is not a limited print run product. We will continue to print Jumpstart to meet demand.

Well, that really sucks for players in these regions, but at least we’ll get to play the MTGA version as designed.
