The Le Mans Esports Series 2020 Super Final
Before the world's best racing drivers meet on September 19 for the legendary Le Mans 2020 24-hour race, it is the turn of the e-racers. The grand finale of the 2020 Le Mans Esports Series season will take place between September 15 and September 18 - although this year it is only online.
The Le Mans Esports Series Super Final follows the great success of the 24h Le Mans Virtual in June, which was won by the Rebellion Williams Esports and Porsche teams. The final will be played out in the Forza Motorsport 7 racing simulation on Xbox One. For four nights, the best sim racing pros will battle it out for the crown in virtual endurance racing over four hours each.
Le Mans Esports Series Final: From History to Today
Each night consists of two 60-minute sprint races and a two-hour endurance event. Each night, the two teams with the fewest points in the Pro and Pro-Am categories will be eliminated until the three best teams compete for the title in the Super Final on September 18.
Seven professional teams qualified for the 2020 Le Mans Esports Series in November 2019:
- Red Bull Racing Esports
- Lazarus Racing
- Total Performance Racing
- Fast Racers Forza
- Solar Vision Racing
- RYZE Motorsport
- Williams Esports
Three wildcard winners complete the field of participants: Veloce Esports, the reigning champions, and Wolves of Dawn.

The first event will take place on Tuesday, September 15. Driving is done in cars built before 1970. In the second event, it will be the turn of the racing cars of the 1970s and 1980s, before the drivers get into the cars of the 1990s and 00s on September 18.
The grand finale on Friday will then be completed in 2010's racing cars, including the 2017 Porsche #2 Porsche Team 919 Hybrid or the 2013 SRT #91 SRT Motorsport GTS-R.
All events of the Le Mans Esports Series Super Final week will be broadcast live on the Motorsport.tv website and can be watched on the Le Mans Esport Series Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube channels.
