League of Legends patch 10.14 preview changes are here! Last night, lead gameplay designer for Riot Games Mark Yetter posted on Twitter changes coming to Summoner's Rift. Let's dive in, shall we?
We've covered what to expect article for Patch 10.14, where we discussed potential up-coming changes for Karthus. The final changes to his kit are seemingly a lot different from what accidentally leaked.
Karthus will now have overall increased health from 528 to 550, movement speed increased from 325 to 335, a major increase in his Q, Lay Waste, which we'll leave you to decide if he's going to be OP or not for Patch 10.14.
10.14 Patch Preview here. Some changelists are in but I'll have the full list from the team tomorrow. Worth noting - ghost and predator are here as followups from our last round of changes which ended up slightly nerfing them. pic.twitter.com/qippIuVBCO

Confirmed nerfs
Here is the list of confirmed nerfs for Patch 10.14.
Note: These are not the final confirmed changes as we could expect more for the full patch 10.14 notes.
- Volibear
- Varus
- Pyke Mid
- Wukong
- Trundle
- Ezreal
Cheeky Monkey
If you haven't seen it already within the LCS 2020 and LEC 2020 League of Legends games, Wukong is still a preferred pick in the top lane, who has such a ridiculous win-rate at the moment (over 50%) we're finally going to see some nerfs to his recently updated kit.
There's no stopping this Monkey in League of Legends games, either. Players are having a difficult time adjusting to his abilities, especially his ultimate. We hope that these set of changes reduce his overall damage, health, and armor, to make this Monkey a little fairer to fight.
As always, fans want more when a champion gets nerfed:
PLEASSEEEEEEEEE JUST REMOVE DOUBLE KNOCKUP BRING THIS BACK R ...NERF PASSIVE ARMOR AND ADD MR .....YOU NEED TO MAKE HIM WEAKER TO AD CHAMPS SO HE DOESNT FACEROLL AUTOWIN VS THEM AND NOT FEEL TERRIBLE VSING AP... BORK/DD ARE ALSO PART OF THE PROBLEM AND WUKONG USES THEM WELL.... pic.twitter.com/TfMud05b34

Ezreal has seen domination in the bottom half of Summoner's Rift, so some changes to his abilities would be appreciated Riot Games, as we can't keep up with the raw damage the explorer puts out in a single game.
We can't miss Volibear here who, after some numbers changes, has been smashing both the top lane and jungle. We welcome some nerfs to Volibear, especially to his ultimate Stormbringer, but we would be happy with some health and armor adjustments too.
Riven buffs!?
You heard us! Riven is getting some buffs!
Oops, missing one addition - Riven on the buff list
— Mark Yetter (@MarkYetter) June 29, 2020
Left forgotten in the image supplied by Yetter, it looks like Riven will finally get some love in the top lane. Riven has been struggling significantly recently. Her abilities and overall kit are incredibly outdated, with Riot Games only putting in some experimental changes what seems like years ago now. Let's hope the overall buffs are damage or health adjustments so she can survive a little longer, but we'll have to see.
Riven isn't the only champion to get some buffs here, the list also includes:
- Pyke
- Kha'zix
- Sejuani
- Zed
- Alistar
Alistar, now there's a name we haven't heard about for a while now. LEC and LCS use more aggressive supports such as Thresh and Blitzcrank, so a potential Alistar buff might push pro players to pick this champion more often. We've got a fantastic Top 5 video that showcases just how good Thresh and Blitzcrank are right now, so make sure you pick them.
Kha'zix buffs are welcome, but we say that tentatively, as he can very quickly become incredibly overbearing in the jungle. Right now, it seems like tank stats and raw damage matter, so should these buffs be significant, Kha'zix is going to have a great time in the jungle.
