League of Legends likes its URF, and for Patch 10.10, the famous game mode returns to the Summoner's Rift! More mayhem, destruction, and finally being able to hit the skill shots we know and love.

URF returns in 10.10 on May 14! The experiment with pick-URF last year went well, with healthier engagement with the mode and with Summoner's Rift afterwards."

What is URF?

For those new to League of Legends, URF (Ultra Rapid Fire) is an infamous game mode in LoL that grants all players 80% cooldown reduction and removes ability costs. What originally started as an experiment from Riot Games very quickly turned into a beloved fan-favorite and is also a fantastic way to learn champions you've never played before while also having some fun! Win-win, right?

The URF mode is so famous among the League of Legends community because it's a fun, laid-back game mode, that takes away the stress of the standard, much longer, League of Legends game. Instead, it focuses on quicker games for all. Keep in mind that Riot Games has not officially stated when URF will end as the fun has only just begun, so if interest is high, the company might extend the event!
