One more was missing and here it is: Aurelion Sol becomes the 7th champion of Legends of Runeterras expansion Call of the Mountain. Find out what this cosmic being can do - and that's a lot - here at EarlyGame!
Call of the Mountain is the first expansion for Legends of Runeterra, coming on August 26. Therefore, all new champion cards are revealed now. There are Taric, Lulu, Trundle, Nocturne, Leona and Diana. On the last day before the release, Riot Games will give us another incredible gift - because, as we all know, the best comes last. We present Aurelion Sol, The Star Forger.
Some Aurelion Sol cards have the new Fury mechanic. After Daybreak, Nightfall and Invoke we didn't expect to see another mechanic, but the development team surprises us again and again! If you want to learn more about Fury, here is everything about it and its cards for you:

Aurelion Sol costs 10 mana, has 10/10 stats, has Fury and Barrier abilities AND triggers Invoke +7 when played. It automatically levels up if you have a total of 20 Power on your board at the end of your turn. At the beginning of your turn, you will receive a random Celestial Card in your hand. By the way, all your Celestial Cards cost 0 Mana when he´s awakened. After the many tempo, aggro and midrange decks, we finally have a representative for a "Late Game Control" deck in Aurelion Sol - and what a beast! If you can make it that far and play Aurelion, then you´re most likely about to win the game!
The incredible power of this card comes at a price of 10 mana, of course, but if you control the board with Invoke and its control spell Aurelion Sol's The Skies Descent (yes, even Nautilus dies from it!), you should be able to play it. Apart from that, the previously known "Celestial Cards" and Aurelion's dragon buddies like INVIOLUS VOX and Eternal Infinite Mindsplitter are not without their own strength either.
Messenger´s Sigil is still a mystery in itself. A 1 Mana card that shuffles 5 "The Messenger" into your deck. What this card can do is not yet known. But basically it's rather counterintuitive to flood your deck with cards - after all, this decreases your chances of drawing Aurelion Sol and your important control spells. And you need these to get into the Late Game.

Aurelion Sol is one of the strongest beings that exist in Runeterra and his cards reflect this more than perfectly. We are incredibly hyped and can hardly wait. Not only does he and his cards look super cool, but also, we think they are really strong.
Are you as excited and overwhelmed by Aurelion Sol as we are, or are you more looking forward to one of the other champions? In any case, we can hardly wait for Call of the Mountain and our shards and wildcards are ready to be invested! Write us your opinion and ideas on Facebook or Twitter.
