League of Legends patch 10.16 is well within Summoner's Rift now. So, how well are the respective roles doing? Let's take a look at support and who you should be playing this patch 10.16.
League of Legends patch 10.16 is live, Yone is here, Lillia seems long since forgotten, and players, professional or not, are learning the recent changes that made their way to Summoner's Rift. Riot Games are making slow but sure changes for Worlds 2020, so we could be seeing a diverse meta within League of Legends.
While there is a diverse meta, some lol champions stand out above the rest. Today, we'll be giving you some of the top support champions you need to play in your Normal or Ranked games! Support is a pivotal role within League of Legends, one that every player should understand, or at the very least, learn the basics of supporting.
An important note: Riot Games have stated they will be taking a break, so Patch 10.17 will not happen. Let's dive in, shall we?
Bard
Bard is sitting at an above 52% winrate for a good reason. He's mobile, has great healing for the damage dealer, and has a game-changing ultimate in the mid to late game of LoL. Bard's Q, Cosmic Binding, is so vital in the EarlyGame, followed by his E, Magical Journey, to help your teammates around Summoner's Rift.

Bard also can deal a significant amount of damage, one that unaware players don't usually expect. Will you take a Magical Journey with Bard this patch 10.16?
Blitzcrank
Following Bard, Blitzcrank is booming in popularity at the moment. Every League of Legends player fears his Q, Rocket Grab, and for a good reason. Players have been feeling more confident in this steaming robot, especially in the EarlyGame, where his Rocket Grab is essential.

Blitzcrank is a fantastic support due to how easy his kit is. Using them, especially his Rocket Grab, is a different thing altogether.Using his abilities one after another almost guarantees an enemy death should you land your skills.
Nami
Nami is a champion that we feel is slept on by a lot of League of Legends players, but not anymore! Nami shot up the ranks of patch 10.16, with an above-average win-rate, sitting at around 51%, with many pro players and high-level players picking her for support, but why?

Nami is deceptively strong. With fantastic CC, incredible healing, and a brilliant Q, Aqua Prison, which bubbles a champion for a second, which is more than enough to take them down. We strongly urge you to play Nami in patch 10.16 as Nami is an incredibly strong pick right now.
That just about does it for the support list. We hope those three champions get you your much-deserved wins! Stick with EarlyGame as we'll be covering more roles that we know you want to see!
For everything else League of Legends, keep it here with EarlyGame.
