Patch 10.21 has just come out for League of Legends and there have been some major changes that took place on Summoner’s Rift. Not to mention, Spooktober has officially begun with this patch, since we’re getting some awesome new Halloween skins!

Let’s start off by looking at some of the new skins which were released with this patch. We’ve got Pumpkin Prince Amumu, Bewitching Elise, and Little Devil Fizz. Honestly, that last one just fits all too well.

There are also some other cool new Odyssey skins for Karma, Aatrox, Sivir, Kha’Zix, Twisted Fate, and Kassadin which look amazing.

Now onto the champion changes with this patch. Since Karma has got a new skin, of course, she also had to be buffed since she hasn’t seen a lot of in-game action. Hence why Riot has decided to make her Ultimate – Mantra – got a decrease in cooldown and the Mantra cooldown refund was also increased so she can use the ability more often.

She wasn’t the only champion to get a bit of a buff though. Of course not. Aphelios, as we’ve mentioned previously, will also be getting a little boost to his lethality on his passive by increasing it from 2/4/6/8/10/12 to 3/6/9/12/15/18. His Ultimate attack was also buffed:

  • Calibrum additional mark damage increase from 20/45/70 to 40/70/100
  • Gravitum root increased from 1s to 1.25s
  • Crescendum chakrams generated increase from 3 to 4
  • Infernum splash damage increased from 75% to 85%
  • Severum healing increased from 200/300/400 to 250/375/500

Camille who has been one of the top dogs in the top lane will also see a slight nerf to her E – Hookshot. She’s just been too powerful, especially in high Elo, and her split push was something Riot wanted to target so they’ve decreased her bonus attack speed from 40/50/60/70/80 to 40/45/50/55/60%.

The developers at Riot have also felt that Samira is a little bit too aggressive and safe in the early game, hence why they decided to cut down on the newest champ once more. She will have the cooldown on her E – Wild Rush – increased and her attack speed will be decreased. This is going to make her more vulnerable in the early stages of the game.

Let’s all take a moment and mourn our favorite Support – Pantheon. His Q – Comet Spear – damage has been decreased, as well as his critical damage. They’ve moved the base damage to his AD ratios over time, to make sure he is still viable in single lanes, but it’ll decrease his early kill threat, which was what made him so strong as a support champion. You’ll be missed, my friend.

Now lastly, the champion everyone who has been watching the 2020 World Championship knows. Graves! The Riot balance team believes he is just a bit too durable. Combine that with his quick clear and you’ve got one hell of a good jungle champion… a bit too good we guess. Since his bonus armor from his E – Quickdraw – is getting a hit, going from 8/11/14/17/20 to 6/9/12/15/18.

A few other champions, such as Corki, Trundle, and Udyr got buffed, while Nidalee and Hecarim got nerfed. For the full patch notes head over to the League of Legends website.

There aren't many more Patches left. Riot has announced that the end of the season will be November 10. Then lots of new item changes await us in pre-season and in Season 11 of League of Legends!

So there you have some of the most notable changes for one of the last Patch updates of the year. Are you excited for the upcoming pre-season? Let us know on Twitter and Facebook and for more information regarding the 2020 World Championship keep reading on EarlyGame.
