The newest League of Legends event will begin with the new LoL Patch 10.18. Six of the eleven new skins have already found their way into the game. We’ve compiled the most important notes on the new event for you here!

Are you ready to participate in Operation Songbird? The PsyOps event is here and Riot Games has prepared new skins for Sona, Ezreal, Vi, and even their newest champion, Samira. There are also multiple missions planned where players can gain numerous rewards, even Prestige Skins!

This event is one of the biggest of Season 10 with a total of 11 available skins. The content of the event, similarly to the Spirit Blossom Event, will be spread out over two Patches – 10.18 and 10.19.

Sona, Vi, Shen, Master Yi and Ezreal are the champions who got the first 6 skins which are available with Patch 10.18. Ezreal being the champion who gained the prestige skin. The theme of the skins is similar to the “PROJECT” concept. Of course, these skins also have their own unique touches.

Most of the skins will be available for 1350 RP. If you want to own the PlayOps Ezreal Prestige Skin, then it’ll cost you 100 Prestige Points or 2000 PsyOps Points. These can be earned quite quickly if you put some time into the event missions.

The remaining skins for Kayle, Pyke, Viktor, Zed, and the still unreleased Samira will become available with Patch 10.19. You’ll be able to get all skins as of September 16! The event will be online until mid-October wherein you’ll have enough time to gain those 2000 points for the Prestige Ezreal skin.

The PsyOps Event Pass

Like all other League Events Operation: Songbird will also be accompanied by an Event Pass. Through the pass, you’ll have access to extra missions, event orbs, and Hextech chests in comparison to the free track of the event.

There is one catch though... to gain the Prestige Ezreal skin you’ll have to buy the Event Pass. So even though the skin does not directly cost any money, you’ll still have to reach into your pockets to be able to gain enough points through the Pass to get him. At least you’ll be able to gain multiple other extras with the pass.

Are you going to participate in these new events or even buy the event pass? How are you liking the PsyOps theme and the prestige skins? Share your thoughts on Facebook and Twitter!
